The bower is different to bowers built by the Great and Satin Bowerbirds. It comprises of a large base of interlaced carefully chosen twigs with the bower then built on top.

Most bird Field Guides suggest this may be to raise the bower up because the area in which it builds is flood prone.

The bower was built in dense undergrowth and it was impossible to get a clear photo without damaging the site, an unacceptable option.
